Scope and content
The SGs are Documents. They deal with 265 topics related to unified defence in the North Atlantic region (see ISGP-2-52). Each topic was first defined in a basic document. Information was then requested in revised versions of the basic document, and finally actions were proposed in the final version.
Major issues included the creation of an integrated European defence force, the creation of SHAPE, regional defence planning, information security and infrastructure.
